Here's the problem: without something to ground you in reality you are flailing in epistemological quicksand. Put more simply, believing in a creator allows me to rationally infer that my mind gives me a true (generally speaking) window through which to consider my own existence. No god(s) means no logical basis for reason itself. And that, my anti-proselytizing friend, is what founders atheism at the pier.
