When will Christians stop letting their children read Harry Potter?

I mean it's teaching our children how to do magic! Last week I saw a kid that lives down my street levitating objects with his wand, and just last night my younger cousin was reading in the dark using his wand as a light! D: We ALL know that magic is real, and that it is possible to cast spells using a stick, so why are we letting our children read such evil garbage!?
