What are some ways that magnetism seems to defy other laws of physics?

This was one of my research questions for a science fair project, so I just need lists of sources that can give me info. I've heard of the levitating frog, but I was just wondering if there's any other things magnetism can do that isn't usual. Oh and I know that nothing can ever truly "defy the laws of physics," I'm just talking about things like a levitating frog, because normally, frogs can't fly. Thanks!
