Help my bf has really bad stinky feet?

my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 3 years i love him but he has really bad stinky feet. Its hard to be around him because i know athletes foot is contageous but i live with him and when we go to sleep his feet stink so bad i have to wash my bedding 2 or 3 times a week it just lingers. I'm starting to get unhappy with him because i wont speak up but i dont know how to tell him. Help?!
